The Mini Cool Mist Travel Humidifier really helps to relieve congestion and support easier breathing, for a good nights sleep.
There is no need to spend a lot on an amazing Humidifier to get all the benefits and continuous vapour.
This amazing little machine is quick and simple to use, starting as soon as you turn it on. You can use it with any cup or jar, or it comes with a nice white travel cup. (You do need to soak the filter briefly before you use it for the first time)
The super compact size means it is ideal for use in small spaces like bedside tables, on a work desk or when travelling.
Humidity can also help with breastfeeding, as it helps keep your baby's airways clear of mucus. Have one running next to where you sit for breastfeeding.
Its ideal for use in air-conditioned homes or offices, where the very dry air can contribute to dry skin, coughs, sinus irritation, head aches and nose bleeds.
Crane Humidifier Liquids can be used in the Travel Ultrasonic Humidifier, just add a couple drops to the water.
How long does this run for?
Information in the instructions say this will use approx 1oz of water per hour. This means a 250ml cup of water would run for approx 8 hours continuously.
Using a bigger cup would mean you can run this amazing little machine continuously through the night.
This compares to 4 hours continuous use from the In a Box Vaporiser and more than 24 hours continuous vapour for the other Crane Humidifiers.

Humidifier or Vaporiser?
Humidifier is the name in the US for what is usually called a Vaporiser in New Zealand and Australia. It is important to note that Crane Adorable, Drop and Travel Humidifer/Vaporisers are cool mist Ultrasonic Vaporisers, not to be confused with warm mist or steam vaporisers. We use the terms Humidifer and Vaporiser interchangebly when referring to Crane products.
Which is Better: Warm Mist or Cool Mist?
The major difference is that a Warm Mist Humidifier is heating the water to produce steam vapour. Cool Mist Humidifiers use an Ultrasonic Nebulizer that vibrates at a very high frequency to produce an extra fine water mist. When it comes to humidifying a room, there is not much of a difference between the two types - both are equally effective. However, pediatricians and parents alike recommend Cool Mist Humidifiers for babies and children because there is no heating element, which could be a safety risk for a child. Cool Mist Humidifiers can also save money on energy costs.
Can I use Essential Oils with my Crane Vaporiser?
It is the cool mist produced by the Crane Vaporisers that is so effective at providing relief for dry coughs, nasal congestion, and croup. Pediatricians recommend cool mist to relieve cold and flu symptoms, sooth the throat and reduce swelling. Using oils is not required for the Crane humidifier to be effective in relieving these symptoms, and not recommended as over time oils will degrade the plastic and interfere with the operation of the ultrasonic membrane. For this reason we recommend that oils NOT be used with Crane humidifiers. A glass or ceramic defuser is more suited for use with oils.
You can use Crane's new Humidifier Liquid, which is a water soluble blend of alcohol and essential oils. Please note Crane Humidifier Liquids are recommended from age 3 years upwards.
Humidifiers are one of the most common Baby Registry items. Why does my Baby need one?
Newborns are Obligate Nasal Breathers, meaning that they can only breathe in through their nose for the first 4-6 months of their lives. Their nostrils are so small that even the tiniest clog can make everything from feeding to sleeping difficult and frustrating. Perhaps more importantly, the American Academy of Pediatrics advises against using Over the Counter Cold Medication for children under the age of 6. For these reasons, pediatricians recommend using Cool Mist Humidifiers to relieve cold and flu symptoms in children.
